Steven Leach Group designed the Tokyo workspace as the first project of the regional agreement. Lenovo, who recently purchased the PC division of a major Japanese electronics company, consolidated its operation in a new building located in Tokyo’s famous district Akihabara. The project consists of back office function as well as a prominent client area with a showcase space of their products.
In order to overcome the space density challenge, the design team created breakout areas to allow more staff collaboration and open the space. The collaboration areas have a different theme, resulting in the flow of the floor plate.  Graphics of technology were used to present a futuristic feel.
